BRC is kicking off our year-long celebration of BRC's 50th Anniversary with the 2021 “The Way Home Gala,” premiering on-demand on June 7, 2021. This year’s event marks the beginning of a year-long celebration of BRC’s 50th Anniversary: a half century of providing a caring and effective pathway from homelessness to home.

The story of BRC began in 1971, when residents of the Bowery, New York’s “Skid Row,” to improve their lives through mutual-aid and sobriety. Since then, BRC has grown into a leader in creating compassionate, innovative solutions to help thousands of New Yorkers achieve health, wellness, and economic and self-sufficiency.

For 50 years, our continuum of holistic, integrated services have made BRC a place of opportunity for our clients to achieve their potential. And even in this extraordinarily challenging time– they continue to do so! While the COVID-19 Pandemic has impacted every facet of our work, the tireless efforts of BRC staff have ensured that our clients continue to experience success on their journey toward health and stability.
